We have invested months of research into becoming a more efficient carrier, not only to benefit the environment and our fuel consumption, but to increase our load capacity as well. After designing a custom, lightweight tractor, and purchasing new lightweight trailers, we were able to decrease fuel consumption and increase our loadable hauling weight to 50,000 lbs with our new 53' dry vans. This is a major advantage to potential customers as it will enable them to ship more per load, ultimately saving in overall cost. We decided to add twenty of these lightweight tractors to our fleet to start, became an EPA Smartway partner, and plan to continue taking a "green" approach in our future business decisions.
